The Weatherby Orion I is a classic over-and-under break-open shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a versatile 3" chamber and a true two-round capacity, purpose-built for upland bird hunting, dove field work, and clay-sport shooting.

This Matte Blue series configuration (OR1MB1226RGG) pairs a 26" vent-rib barrel with a low-profile matte blued receiver, giving the Orion a clean traditional sight picture and excellent target acquisition. A bright brass bead front sight sits at the muzzle, while a discreet tang safety is positioned at the shooter's thumb for quick, instinctive operation. The right-hand fixed walnut stock carries a classic Prince of Wales grip with a brown finish for a traditional look and an ergonomic, quick-to-shoulder hold.

Measuring 43.75" overall and tipping the scales at roughly 7 lbs, the Orion I swings smoothly and handles comfortably all day in the field. The break-open design accepts Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified flush choke tubes - all three included - so you can tailor pattern density for tight upland flushing birds, pass shooting, or sporting clays without leaving the bench.
