Weatherby Mark V Live Wild 280 Ackley Improved 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild is a purpose-built backcountry bolt-action rifle chambered in 280 Ackley Improved, designed in collaboration with hunter Remi Warren for sportsmen who refuse to lug a heavy rifle deep into the backcountry. Built on Weatherby's legendary Mark V action with a steel receiver finished in Carbon Grey Cerakote, this rifle pairs a 22-inch BSF carbon fiber spiral-fluted match-grade barrel with a Fixed Peak 44 Bastion camouflage stock to keep overall weight around 5.70 lbs.

The threaded barrel accepts the included Accubrake ST muzzle device to help tame the Ackley Improved chambering for follow-up shots. The bolt-action rifle holds 4+1 rounds and the trigger is Weatherby's TriggerTech unit for a clean, crisp break. The 1:9 twist stabilizes a wide range of hunting bullet weights and the rifle measures 44" overall. No iron sights are included, allowing the shooter to mount optics directly to the receiver.
