Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide TI 6.5 WBY RPM 22" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide TI is a purpose-built ultralight mountain rifle chambered in the high-velocity 6.5 WBY RPM cartridge. Built on Weatherby's legendary Mark V bolt-action platform with its six-lug push-feed action, this rifle delivers the strength and accuracy of a full-size hunting rifle at a mere 5.20 lbs.

The 22" barrel is a fluted, threaded carbon fiber tube finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and tipped with Weatherby's Accubrake ST muzzle brake to tame felt recoil from the powerful 6.5 WBY RPM. A 1:8" twist stabilizes the long, high-BC projectiles the cartridge is designed around, and the barrel is paired with a Titanium receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, shaving every possible ounce from the chassis without sacrificing the rigidity the Mark V is known for.

Feeding the rifle is a 4+1 capacity magazine. The crisp, user-adjustable TriggerTech trigger and a two-position safety complete the action. The receiver's optics-ready top profile accepts your preferred scope mount via its factory drilled and tapped holes; no iron sights are included.

The stock is a Fixed Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon-composite sporter profile in Blacktooth camouflage finish, chosen for its light weight, comfortable off-hand handling, and natural concealment in western big-game terrain. This right-hand configuration has an overall length of 42" and balances fast handling with the long-range accuracy and flat trajectories Weatherby rifles are famous for.
