Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide 6.5 WBY RPM 22" 3+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 WBY RPM, Weatherby's rebated-rim cartridge based on a lengthened 284 Winchester case and tailored for long-range, high-performance big game hunting.

This rifle pairs a 22" carbon fiber fluted and threaded barrel with a Black Cerakote steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optics. The barrel features a 1:8" twist for stabilizing the long, sleek bullets the 6.5 RPM was designed around, and comes factory-threaded and fitted with Weatherby's Accubrake ST muzzle brake to help tame felt recoil.

The rifle carries a 3+1 capacity and wears a fixed Peak 44 Blacktooth camouflage stock finished in black with olive green and backpack-tone accents. Each Blacktooth stock is hand-painted for a one-of-a-kind look on every rifle. The TriggerTech trigger and two-position safety round out the control package, and the gun weighs in at 6.60 lbs with an overall length of 46" for a light, packable platform suited for backcountry hunting where every ounce counts.

Sights are not included; the steel receiver is drilled and tapped so you can mount the optic of your choice. This is a right-hand configuration and ships as a complete rifle as it comes from the Weatherby factory.
