Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Carbon 6.5-300 Wby Mag 26" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Carbon is a purpose-built mountain rifle chambered in 6.5-300 Weatherby Mag that pairs the classic Mark V bolt action with a lightweight carbon fiber wrapped barrel and stock. Built around a steel action with all metal components sealed under Patriot Brown Cerakote, this rifle is built for hunters who carry their rifle deep into the backcountry.

The 26" carbon fiber wrapped barrel uses Weatherby's tensioned carbon fiber sleeve, with approximately 95% of the wrap standing off from the barrel for improved air cooling and faster heat dissipation. The barrel is threaded and fitted with the Accubrake ST muzzle brake to help manage the recoil of the 6.5-300 Weatherby Mag, and a 1:8" twist stabilizes long, heavy-for-caliber projectiles.

A TriggerTech trigger delivers a clean pull, and a thumb safety sits within easy reach for safe field carry. The action is paired with the Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock finished in a camouflage pattern, and the rifle tips the scales at just 6.60 lbs with an overall length of 48.50". With a 3+1 capacity, right-handed configuration, and no iron sights installed, the action is ready for the optic of your choice.
