Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 6.5 WBY RPM 4+1 24" Bolt Action Rifle - Patriot Brown Cerakote

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 takes Weatherby's classic steel Mark V action and re-engineers it as a lightweight mountain rifle chambered in the high-performance 6.5 WBY RPM cartridge. The fluted and threaded 24" barrel cuts weight where it counts and accepts the included Accubrake ST muzzle device to take the edge off recoil during long-range practice or hunting shots.

The barreled action wears a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish for weather resistance in harsh mountain environments. Sights are intentionally omitted so the optic rail is ready for your preferred scope. The Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock features a Brown Sponge Pattern Black colorway with black accents and Weatherby's 3DHEX recoil pad, all in a fixed, right-hand configuration.

Operation is traditional bolt-action with a thumb safety and the factory fixed Peak 44 Blacktooth trigger. A 4+1 internal magazine delivers the long, sleek 6.5 WBY RPM projectiles down a 1:8 twist rate. Overall weight comes in at 5.40 lbs with a 46" overall length, making the Backcountry 2.0 a purpose-built rifle for backcountry elk, mule deer, and open-country big game hunting.
