The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a purpose-built mountain rifle chambered in 338 WBY RPM, a long-range magnum cartridge built for the backcountry hunter who needs serious reach from a lightweight, carry-friendly platform. This left-hand variant pairs the classic Mark V steel action with a 24" fluted threaded barrel finished in Patriot Brown Cerakote, giving the rifle a distinctive two-tone look and serious corrosion resistance for hunting in rough weather.

The fluted barrel keeps weight down while aiding cooling, and its threaded muzzle comes ready for the included Accubrake ST muzzle brake to tame the 338 WBY RPM's stout recoil. Chambered with a 1:10" twist that reliably stabilizes the heavy, high-BC projectiles this magnum is designed to drive, the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting on its integral bases. Iron sights are not included.

The action is a time-tested bolt-action with a TriggerTech trigger and a thumb safety for confident carry in the field. The stock is a fixed Peak 44 Blacktooth in black with brown accents, a lightweight carbon-fiber design that drops the rifle's total weight to 6.30 lbs while providing a stable platform for off-hand and prone shooting.
