The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a purpose-built lightweight mountain hunting rifle chambered in the hard-hitting 338 WBY RPM magnum cartridge. Built on Weatherby's classic steel Mark V action, this bolt-action rifle pairs a Patriot Brown Cerakote-finished fluted and threaded barrel with a rugged Peak 44 Blacktooth camouflage stock for a balance of carry-friendly weight, balance, and magnum performance in the backcountry.

The 24" fluted and threaded barrel is finished in Patriot Brown Cerakote for corrosion resistance and topped with Weatherby's Accubrake ST muzzle brake, which adds 2" to the overall length and tames felt recoil from the potent 338 WBY RPM chambering. The barrel features a 1:10" twist rate, and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting your preferred optic — no iron sights are included from the factory.

Feeding from an internal box magazine with a 4+1 round capacity, the Backcountry 2.0 delivers a clean, crisp pull thanks to the TriggerTech trigger and provides positive disengagement via a right-hand thumb safety. The rifle tips the scales at just 6.30 lbs with an overall length of 46", putting genuine Weatherby magnum performance into one of the lightest mountain-ready rifles on the market.
