The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a purpose-built lightweight mountain bolt-action rifle chambered in the high-performance 28 Nosler cartridge. Built around Weatherby's classic steel Mark V action, this rifle pairs traditional strength and accuracy with modern weight savings for hunters who need to cover big country on foot.

The fluted 28" barrel is finished in Patriot Brown Cerakote for corrosion resistance in harsh mountain environments. Its 1:9" twist rate is well matched to the high-BC projectiles typically used in 28 Nosler. The barrel is fitted with an Accubrake ST muzzle brake to dramatically reduce felt recoil, helping the shooter stay on target for quick follow-up shots at distance. Overall length is 48" and the rifle tips the scales at 6.20 lbs.

A TriggerTech trigger provides a clean, crisp break with a short, tactile reset prized by serious hunters. Controls are kept deliberately simple with a thumb safety for intuitive manipulation in cold weather or under stress. The action feeds from a detachable 3-round box magazine for a 3+1 round capacity in 28 Nosler.

The stock is the standout feature: a Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock finished in a Dark Green/Brown Sponge camouflage pattern.
