The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 in 25 Creedmoor is a purpose-built lightweight mountain rifle that pairs the legendary Mark V steel action with a fluted, threaded barrel and a carbon fiber Peak 44 Blacktooth stock. Tipping the scales at just 5.30 lbs, this bolt-action hunting rifle is engineered for hunters who count every ounce on a long day in the backcountry.

At the core of the rifle is the Weatherby Mark V steel action finished in Patriot Brown Cerakote, mated to a fluted, threaded 22" barrel with a 1:7.5-inch twist. An Accubrake ST muzzle brake is fitted at the factory, and the threaded muzzle is ready for a suppressor or other muzzle device. The barreled action sits in a Fixed Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock dressed in Brown and Dark Green sponge accents for a rugged camouflage look. Configured for right-hand shooters, the drilled and tapped steel receiver is ready to mount your optic of choice since the rifle ships with no iron sights installed.

The trigger is a high-performance Adjustable TriggerTech unit for a clean, crisp break, and the internal 4-round magazine feeds a 4+1 capacity in 25 Creedmoor.
