The Warne Scope Mounts Maxima 2-Piece Scope Base is purpose-built for the CVA V2 Series muzzleloader rifles equipped with a round barrel, delivering a rugged and repeatable optics platform for hunters and black-powder shooters alike. This two-piece base set includes the front base and the extended rear base needed to properly mount a scope on your CVA muzzleloader.

Warne machines every Maxima base from solid bar stock of cold-drawn alloy steel for maximum strength and reliability in the field. The base is finished in a low-glare matte coating that resists corrosion and minimizes reflective glare during the hunt. A Weaver-style cross-slot pattern is incorporated so the base accepts standard Weaver-style rings, and Warne's full width and depth recoil slot in each base allows the recoil control keys of Warne Rings to achieve maximum bearing surface for a secure, return-to-zero hold.

Designed as a direct fit for the CVA V2 Series with a round barrel, this Maxima base also fits CVA all round barrel muzzleloader models, the Winchester X-150, and the Apex Muzzleloader. The low-profile design allows continued use of iron sights when optics are removed, giving shooters a versatile mounting solution for a variety of hunting setups. Overall base length measures 6.20 in.
