Warne M987M Maxima 1-Piece Steel Weaver Scope Base for Thompson Center Encore - Matte Black

The Warne M987M Maxima is a 1-piece steel scope base built around the proven Weaver mounting pattern, designed specifically for Thompson Center single-shot and break-action rifles. Machined from high-strength steel and finished in non-reflective matte black, this low-profile base positions your optic close to the receiver for a clean sight picture and balanced rifle handling.

The Maxima design incorporates a full-width recoil slot in each base, distributing recoil forces across the strongest part of the receiver to protect both the scope and the mounting surface under heavy magnum loads. The base installs using 6-48 screws and accepts any Weaver- or Picatinny-compatible ring set, giving shooters flexibility to dial in eye relief, ring height, and ring style for their preferred optic.

This M987M base fits the Thompson Center Encore (not the 12 Ga. Encore Shotgun), Omega, Triumph, ProHunter FX, and Impact rifle platforms. Rings are not included and are sold separately, allowing you to pair this base with the ring diameter, height, and mounting style that best suit your scope and shooting application.
