The Warne M981M Maxima is a one-piece steel scope base purpose-built for the H&R Handi-Rifle receiver. Machined from steel with a low-profile design and a durable matte black finish, the Maxima base is modeled around the classic Weaver mounting standard, giving shooters a strong, versatile platform for pairing rings and optics to their Handi-Rifle.

Warne Maxima steel bases are designed as a serious upgrade over typical two-piece base sets, featuring full-width recoil slots in each base. This allows the recoil control keys on compatible Warne Rings to achieve maximum bearing surface for a rock-solid scope mounting interface that holds zero under heavy recoil. The base installs directly to the receiver using 6-48 mounting screws and accepts any Weaver-pattern ring set.
