The Warne M902/879M Maxima is a precision-built 2-piece steel scope base machined specifically for the Weatherby Mark V Magnum bolt-action receiver with its nine-lug locking system. Modeled after the proven Weaver-style mounting interface, this base provides a rock-solid foundation for scope rings and keeps the optic mounted low over the action thanks to the low-profile footprint.

Constructed from steel with a Matte Black finish, the Maxima 2-piece base is precision CNC machined to tight tolerances for a precise, no-slop fit on the Mark V Magnum receiver. The two-piece configuration allows scope rings to be positioned along the base to accommodate varying scope body lengths and objective bell diameters, making it one of the strongest and most versatile mounting setups available for this bolt-action rifle.

This base is engineered for the Weatherby Mark V Magnum in all chamberings except .240 WM. It does not fit the Mark V Standard 6-lug action or any Mark V Magnum chambered in .240 WM.
