The Warne A996M is a one-piece aluminum scope base from the Warne Maxima Series, precision machined to provide a solid mounting platform for optics on Browning BAR, Mark II, BLR, and BPR rifles. Constructed from lightweight aluminum and finished in matte black, this base delivers a low-glare surface that blends cleanly with factory rifle finishes.

The A996M's low profile design positions mounted optics close enough to the bore that shooters can continue to co-witness with the rifle's iron sights when desired. Full width and depth recoil slots distribute recoil forces across the entire base for a secure, repeatable fit. Weighing just 1.0 oz, the base adds minimal weight to your rig. Warne recommends a maximum torque of 25 in/lb during installation. Standard scope rings are required to complete the optic mounting and are sold separately.
