VKTR Industries VK-1 5.56 NATO 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto AR-15 Rifle - Armor Black

The VKTR Industries VK-1 is a 5.56 NATO modern sporting rifle that takes the standard AR-15 platform in a serious, performance-minded direction. Instead of the conventional direct-impingement gas system, the VK-1 uses a gas piston operating system that runs cleaner, keeps the action cooler during extended strings of fire, and pushes far less fouling back into the receiver. For shooters who log heavy round counts in training, competition, or duty work, that translates directly into improved reliability and longer intervals between cleanings.

At the heart of the rifle is a 16" cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:7" twist and a QPQ nitrided finish for outstanding wear and corrosion resistance. The barrel is threaded and crowned with an A2 flash hider. An M-LOK handguard runs the length of the forend and carries a full-length Picatinny top rail for mounting optics, back-up sights, lights, or lasers exactly where the shooter wants them.

The steel receiver provides a rock-solid foundation, dressed throughout in a uniform Armor Black finish. The trigger is a crisp Hiperfire single-stage unit, paired with a familiar switch-style safety. A Magpul SL adjustable stock lets the shooter dial in length-of-pull, and ambidextrous-friendly controls make the rifle comfortable to run from either shoulder. The VK-1 weighs in at 6.80 lbs and measures 31.90" to 34.50" overall depending on stock position, and ships with a 30-round magazine for a 30+1 capacity right out of the box.
