The Underwood Ammo 458 SOCOM load is a heavy, subsonic 500gr lead flat nose round designed for rifles chambered in 458 SOCOM. The hard cast lead bullet carries a Hi-Tek polymer coating to minimize bore fouling and lead build-up, while the flat nose profile is built to drive deep, straight penetration on medium to large game at subsonic velocities.

Pushed to a subsonic 1070 fps, this round produces approximately 1271 ft lbs of muzzle energy, giving hunters a heavy, slow-moving projectile with serious knockdown authority. The subsonic velocity also keeps the report down for use with a suppressor or in confined shooting environments.

Underwood loads this ammunition in brass cases that are reloadable, so handloaders can reuse the brass after firing. Each 20-round box is packaged ten per case, for a total of 200 rounds per case.
