Umarex USA Prymex .177 Caliber Gas Piston Break Barrel Air Rifle

The Umarex USA Prymex is a .177 caliber (4.5mm) break-barrel air rifle driven by a gas-piston powerplant instead of a traditional coiled steel mainspring. Sending alloy pellets downrange at velocities up to 1,100 fps with roughly 17 ft lbs of muzzle energy, the Prymex is well suited to backyard target practice and dispatching small pests.

Operation is straightforward: break the barrel downward, seat a single .177 caliber pellet in the breech, and snap the barrel back into battery. The action is single-shot, fed one pellet at a time. The 18.9 in barrel is rifled for accuracy and topped with an 11mm dovetail rail that accepts the included 4x32 scope or aftermarket optics. Fiber-optic iron sights are also installed out of the box for use without magnification.

The stock is molded from an all-weather black polymer, keeping overall weight to 6.17 lbs with a 14 in length of pull. The trigger breaks at around 5 lbs of pull. Designed for target practice and small game hunting, the Prymex ships as a complete shooting package out of the box.
