Developed from the 6.5 Grendel parent case, the .338 ARC carries a relatively small powder capacity that promotes consistent ignition and predictable velocities, well suited to a heavy-for-caliber 300 gr match-style bullet. HPBTM projectiles combine a hollow-point tip with a boat-tail base for a high ballistic coefficient, helping the round hold velocity and resist wind drift at extended range.
