Properly aligning the gas block port with the gas port hole drilled in the barrel is one of the trickiest steps in a home build, and the Gas Block Genie holds the barrel and gas block in perfect relationship so the port lines up every time without trial and error.

Setup takes three simple steps: clamp the tool to the barrel, set the gas block in the Genie, and tighten the set screws through the access windows. The gas port and barrel port end up concentric, the gas block sits straight, and your rifle cycles reliably on the first range trip. Because it is a reusable jig, the Gas Block Genie can be used again and again across every future AR-15 build.
