TruGlo TG8953B 3/8 In. to Picatinny Mounting Adapter - Matte Black Anodized

The TruGlo TG8953B is a one-piece 3/8" dovetail to Picatinny/Weaver mounting adapter that lets shooters install modern scopes and red dot optics onto rimfire rifles and other firearms originally equipped with a traditional 3/8" dovetail base. The adapter clamps directly to the existing dovetail and provides a standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail interface on top, opening up a much wider range of optic mounting options than the original slot-style base.

Machined from aluminum and finished in a low-glare matte black anodized coating, the TG8953B keeps added weight to a minimum while resisting corrosion and handling wear in the field. An integrated recoil lug helps lock the adapter positively into the dovetail and provides a repeatable seat against the receiver, reducing shift under recoil and helping the optic hold its point of aim. The single-piece design ensures a rigid, properly aligned mounting platform for your optic.

Rings are not included; this listing is for the adapter base only. Pair the TG8953B with the appropriate 1" or 30mm ring set for your optic's tube diameter and clamp your scope or dot sight directly to the resulting Picatinny rail. Mounting hardware is included.
