The TruGlo TG131XTY TFO is a tritium and fiber-optic night sight set purpose-built for the Springfield Armory XD pistol. The TFO (Tritium/Fiber Optic) system layers a light-gathering fiber-optic rod over a sealed tritium capsule, giving the shooter a bright aiming point in any lighting - from bright daylight to total darkness - with no batteries or switches to operate.

The front sight pairs a green fiber-optic element with a tritium capsule for fast daylight pickup and a glowing low-light reference. The rear sight uses a yellow fiber-optic and tritium combination with a U-notch design, paired against a square front blade for a clean, intuitive sight picture. The high-contrast green-over-yellow color scheme draws the eye to the front sight quickly for faster target acquisition under stress.

The sights are machined from steel and finished in TruGlo's Black Nitride Fortress coating for corrosion resistance and long service life. The snag-resistant profile glides smoothly in and out of standard holsters, and the 0.060" fiber diameter provides a bright, well-defined aiming dot.
