The Troy Industries Medieval Flash Suppressor is a rugged muzzle device designed to reduce the flash signature of 5.56x45mm NATO AR-15/M16/M4 rifles and carbines. Machined from 4140 PH heat-treated ordnance steel and finished in a black phosphate coating, it is built to run on a hard-use duty or defensive carbine without complaint.

The Medieval drops onto any standard AR-pattern barrel with 1/2"x28 threading and measures just 2.25" overall length so it stays clear of most handguards and does not weigh the muzzle down. Aggressive diamond-shaped teeth along the front give the suppressor its distinctive "medieval" look and provide a usable less-lethal striking surface in a pinch. Lock-up is solid, installation is tool-friendly, and the muted signature makes it a popular upgrade over mil-spec A2 flash hiders.
