Troy Industries Alpha Rail 11" Black Anodized Aluminum AR-15/M16 Free Float Handguard

The Troy Industries Alpha Rail is a free-floating railed handguard built for the AR-15 / M16 platform. Machined from 6061-T6 hardened aircraft aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodizing, this 11" rail delivers a lightweight, corrosion-resistant upgrade over factory plastic handguards. The low-profile design clamps directly to the standard AR-15 / M16 barrel nut (not included) and provides a continuous free-float mounting surface so the barrel is not contacted by the rail for improved accuracy potential.

A single fixed top Picatinny rail runs the full length of the handguard, ready to mount optics, back-up iron sights, or lasers. Three detachable rail sections (two 2" sections and one 4.2" section) can be installed at any of eight positions around the handguard, giving the user up to eight angles of attachment for accessories such as weapon lights, vertical grips, and aiming modules. All mounting hardware is included, and installation requires no additional parts beyond the standard AR-15 barrel nut.
