The Trijicon RMR Type 2 is a rugged, battery-powered 1x reflex red dot sight built for duty and defensive use on pistols, rifles, and shotguns. The 3.25 MOA red dot reticle provides a precise aiming point suited for both close-quarters speed and moderate-range accuracy, while the impact-resistant housing helps keep the optic functional after rough handling or drops.

This RMR Type 2 features a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the illuminated dot based on ambient lighting conditions, preserving battery life and keeping the dot readable from dim indoor environments to bright daylight. A single CR2032 battery powers the unit, and the LED provides unlimited eye relief and an unlimited field of view for rapid target acquisition and flexible mounting positions. Click adjustment is provided in 1 MOA increments on both windage and elevation.

The optic is finished in a low-visibility Flat Dark Earth Cerakote that blends well with modern firearms and helps protect the housing. It is impact-resistant, waterproof, and weather-resistant, and the lens carries a multi-coated treatment for a clear sight picture. The sight measures just 1.80" long and weighs only 1.20 oz, keeping it light on the host firearm.
