Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights 3-Dot Green Tritium White Outline - Colt 1911 .055 Tang

The Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights (model 600145) are a pair of three-dot self-illuminated iron sights built to dramatically improve low-light aiming on a classic Colt Government 1911 platform. Each lamp is housed in a steel body with a black finish and cushioned within silicone rubber for shock resistance, and the rear sight notch is designed to draw the eye naturally to the front blade for fast, intuitive alignment.

Both the front and rear sight use green tritium vials encircled by a white outline ring, producing a clean three-dot aiming picture in total darkness with no batteries and no ambient light required. Trijicon warrants the green tritium lamps for 12 years from the date of manufacture, and states that these sights can improve night-fire accuracy by as much as five times over conventional iron sights.

This configuration is cut for the .055 narrow staking tang and is intended to fit the Colt Government 1911, Combat Elite, and Delta Elite - particularly pistols made in 1988 or before. The sights are non-adjustable for windage and elevation and are designed as direct dovetail replacements for the factory iron sights.
