The TriggerTech Special is a drop-in single-stage trigger purpose-built for Remington 700 rifles, positioned as the upgraded tier above TriggerTech's Primary model and engineered for shooters focused on enhanced accuracy and precision. It installs directly into the factory Remington 700 trigger pocket as a drop-in replacement, requiring no permanent modifications to the host action.

This Special model features a traditional curved trigger lever and delivers TriggerTech's signature zero-creep break - the sear releases with no perceptible movement before the shot breaks, giving the shooter a crisp, predictable pull. Overtravel is held to an extremely short amount to help the shooter stay on target through follow-through. Pull weight is fully adjustable from 1.0 to 3.5 lbs, letting the end user dial in a precise pull weight for hunting, precision, or field use.

The trigger housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a stainless finish for corrosion resistance and reliable function in harsh environments. This right-hand unit is configured without a bolt release, preserving the factory bolt-stop behavior of the host Remington 700 action.
