These lubricated wads sit over the powder charge to seal the bore and carry lubricant down the barrel with each round, reducing leading and fouling while smoothing the seating of round balls, conical bullets, and other projectiles.

The wool fibers hold lubricant in suspension and compress properly under pressure, making them equally effective whether you are shooting traditional cap-and-ball revolvers or single shot muzzleloading pistols.
