Traditions Touch Hole Liner 5mm - For Traditions/CVA Flintlock Muzzleloaders

The Traditions Touch Hole Liner is a replacement ignition-system insert built for use with 5mm Traditions and CVA flintlock muzzleloaders. Machined from stainless steel with metric threads, this small but critical component threads into the breech of the lock to form a tight, consistent vent for the priming powder charge. Worn, eroded, or oversized touch holes are one of the most common causes of misfires and inconsistent ignition on flintlock rifles and pistols, and a fresh liner restores the tight seating needed for reliable flash transfer from the frizzen pan to the main powder charge.

The A1735 5mm size is the correct replacement for most current and legacy Traditions and CVA flintlock rifles and pistols, making it a useful spare to keep with your field kit or shop bench. Install requires only that the worn liner be removed and the new one threaded in place with a light coat of anti-seize; no special tools are required.
