The Traditions Smackdown Carnivore muzzleloader bullets are designed for hunters who want hard-hitting terminal performance and long-range accuracy from their .50 caliber muzzleloader. Each bullet is a .45 caliber, 305 grain lead-core projectile with a copper coating, topped with a hard-hitting polycarbonate tip for improved ballistic performance on game.

The Carnivore bullet is loaded in a Traditions Ridgeback Sabot, a .50 caliber polymer sabot that holds the smaller .45 caliber bullet securely through the bore and is designed to separate cleanly at the muzzle. The flat-base polycarbonate tip design pairs the deep-driving weight of a hard lead bullet with the streamlined flight of a pointed projectile. With a ballistic coefficient of .383, the Carnivore is rated for 200+ yard muzzleloader accuracy.

Sold as projectiles only (bullets with sabots included), this product does not contain propellant, primer, or other loading components.
