The Traditions ShedHorn is an affordable .50 caliber sidelock muzzleloader rifle built around a 26" ultralight chromoly steel barrel with a fluted profile and a Black Cerakote exterior finish. Designed for hunters and black-powder enthusiasts who want a reliable traditional muzzleloader, the ShedHorn pairs classic styling with modern materials and component features.

The ShedHorn uses a musket cap percussion ignition system and fires loose black powder or Pyrodex through a muzzleloading projectile. The barrel is cut with a 1:28" twist that stabilizes saboted bullets and modern muzzleloading projectiles, giving shooters flexibility with contemporary muzzleloader loads. A Williams fiber optic metal sight set is factory installed for fast target acquisition in low-light hunting conditions.

The rifle is stocked in a traditional fixed hardwood stock that complements the Black Cerakote barrel, and is finished with a rubber recoil pad for comfort at the shoulder. The fluted, tapered chromoly barrel keeps carry weight down for long walks in the field, making the ShedHorn a practical choice for the muzzleloader hunting season.
