The Traditions Pursuit XT is a purpose-built .50 caliber in-line muzzleloader designed for hunters who want modern performance from a traditional black-powder platform. Built around a 26" Chromoly steel barrel with the company's VAPR Twist and a fast 1:24" rifling twist, this rifle is engineered to stabilize modern conical and sabot bullets for dramatically improved accuracy over conventional muzzleloader twists. The barrel is tapered and fluted for a balanced swing weight and quicker heat dissipation, and is finished in Stainless Cerakote for long-term corrosion resistance in wet hunting environments.

Ignition is handled by a standard 209 shotgun primer, the most common and easiest-to-find ignition system in the muzzleloading world. The receiver is drilled and tapped so the included 3-9x40 scope can be mounted directly, giving the Pursuit XT a true out-of-the-box hunting setup. Traditions' Accelerator Breech Plug removes by hand in just three turns, letting shooters switch between loose powder and pellets in seconds without tools.

The black synthetic stock shrugs off weather, scratches, and rough handling that would punish a wood stock, making this rifle a natural choice for early-season scouting trips and late-season snow hunts alike. At roughly 5.75 lbs, the Pursuit XT carries light enough for long walks and steady enough off a rest for accurate shot placement.
