The Traditions NitroFire VAPR is a modern .50 caliber inline muzzleloader built around a break-open action that swaps the traditional percussion cap for a standard 209 shotgun primer, delivering more reliable and weather-resistant ignition. Designed as a dedicated single-shot hunting rifle, it pairs a lightweight 26" Chromoly steel fluted and tapered barrel finished in premium Gray Cerakote with Traditions' signature 1:24" VAPR twist, optimized for modern sabot loads and high-BC muzzleloading projectiles.

The drilled and tapped receiver ships without iron sights, allowing the shooter to mount a red dot, traditional muzzleloader scope, or another optic of their choice directly to the action.
