The Traditions NitroFire Pro is a .50 caliber break-open single-shot muzzleloader that uses modern 209 shotshell primers for fast, reliable ignition in any weather condition. The hinged breech makes loading straightforward, and the streamlined synthetic-stocked package handles like a modern hunting rifle while delivering the downrange performance serious muzzleloader hunters expect.

At the core is a 26" ultralight Chromoly steel barrel that is fluted and tapered to cut weight without sacrificing rigidity on long hikes and high-country stalks. The button-rifled 1:24" VAPR twist is engineered to stabilize modern conical muzzleloader projectiles and full-bore sabot loads with strong accuracy out past practical hunting ranges. A Sniper Gray Cerakote finish protects the barrel and action from the elements and pairs cleanly with the camo stock. The receiver is drilled and tapped for the optic or iron sights of the shooter's choice; this listing is for the rifle only and ships from Traditions without factory-installed iron sights or a scope.

The synthetic stock is molded in a Veil Alpine alpine-and-timber camo pattern and features both an adjustable cheek piece and an adjustable length-of-pull, so the rifle can be tuned to fit shooters of different statures and different shooting positions off sticks, a pack, or prone. A rubber butt pad softens felt recoil. The rifle measures 42" overall, keeping the muzzle well placed for off-hand shooting and balanced naturally off a pack or in a scabbard on long western hunts.
