Traditions NitroFire Pro 50 Cal 209 Primer 26" Fluted Threaded Barrel Desert Web Synthetic Stock Muzzleloader

The Traditions NitroFire Pro is an in-line .50 caliber muzzleloader that brings true breech-loading convenience to black-powder hunting. Built around Traditions' signature FireStick system, the action loads from the rear: a pre-charged FireStick projectile drops into the breech and a standard 209 shotgun primer lights it off, so there is no powder to pour down the muzzle.

The 26-inch barrel is machined from ultralight chromoly steel, then fluted and tapered to trim weight up front and finished in a weather-resistant Tungsten Cerakote. Inside the bore, 1:24" VAPR twist rifling stabilizes modern conical projectiles and sabots, and the muzzle is threaded so a recoil-reducing muzzle device can be fitted directly to the barrel.

A steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting; the NitroFire Pro ships without iron sights and is intended to be run with a scope. The action is dressed in a rugged Desert Web synthetic stock fitted with both an adjustable cheek piece and adjustable length of pull so the rifle can be tuned to the shooter. Overall length is 42 inches.

Functioning as a single-shot in every practical sense, the NitroFire Pro is part of Traditions' Pro Series of hunting muzzleloaders designed for today's black-powder hunters.
