The Traditions Kentucky Rifle Kit is a "finish it yourself" muzzleloader kit that lets the shooter build a classic American .50 caliber percussion long rifle patterned after the iconic Kentucky rifle. Imported by Traditions and manufactured in Spain, the kit ships in unfinished form and is ready for the buyer's final stock shaping, sanding, finishing, and assembly. This kit is sold in New Condition.

At the heart of the build is a 33.50" blued octagonal barrel with a fixed tang and a slow 1:66" twist optimized for traditional patched round-ball loads. The barrel is paired with a sidelock percussion action using #11 percussion ignition, a brass trigger, and fixed blade sights. The hardwood stock arrives in the white, ready for the builder to shape and finish to taste.

Once completed, the rifle measures 49" overall and tips the scales at 7.75 lbs, giving it the handling and balance of a traditional American long rifle.
