The Traditions A1596 Ultimate Loading/Cleaning Rod is a heavy-duty brass muzzleloader accessory built to handle loading charges and scrubbing fouling on muzzleloaders. Constructed entirely of brass, the rod resists corrosion from black powder residue and stands up to repeated use at the bench or in the field.

This 4-piece rod breaks down for compact storage in a range bag or pack and re-assembles quickly when it is time to load or clean. A removable T-Handle locks into two different positions to give the shooter better leverage and a more comfortable grip whether seating a round ball or a conical bullet, or pushing patches and brushes down the bore. The working end of the rod is cut with standard 10/32 threads so it accepts common muzzleloader jags, brushes, and loading tips.
