Traditions A1253 Barrel Wedge Color Case Hardened Steel

The Traditions A1253 Barrel Wedge is a replacement barrel wedge for most Traditions muzzleloading rifles and pistols. Machined from steel and given a traditional Color Case Hardened finish, this small but critical component locks the barrel securely to the stock tenon on classic black powder firearms.

Sized to fit the barrel tenons on most Traditions muzzleloaders, the A1253 also drops into similar-sized tenons found on other compatible platforms. The case-hardened steel construction stands up to the recoil of black powder loads and provides long service life as either a primary wedge or a field spare.
