The Traditions 1873 Buntline is a faithful single-action revolver recreation of the iconic 1873 Colt-pattern Buntline Special, the long-barreled frontier sidearm made famous in Old West lore. This brand new revolver is chambered in 45 LC, carries a commanding 12-inch barrel, an overall length of 17.50", and a 6-round cylinder built on a color case hardened steel frame with a blued cylinder and barrel.
Classic walnut grips fill the hand, while a traditional blade front sight sits atop the barrel for quick target acquisition. An exposed hammer delivers the crisp single-action trigger pull that defines the 1873 platform, and the transfer bar safety system provides the highest level of safety offered in an 1873-pattern single-action revolver. The all-steel frame and period-correct finishes come together at a carry weight of 2.80 lbs, making this a purpose-built choice for personal protection, sport shooting, and Old West revolver enthusiasts.
