The Traditions 1860 Army is a faithful black powder reproduction of the iconic Civil War-era percussion revolver, built for hunting and target shooting. Chambered in .44 Cal, this revolver pairs period-correct styling with a modern break-open action that makes loading and capping fast and easy for today's black powder enthusiast.
The 8" steel barrel and 6-shot cylinder are finished in a deep blued treatment with elegant engraving on the barrel and cylinder. The frame is finished in a contrasting brass engraved pattern that gives this revolver its distinctive Civil War-era look, while a smooth walnut grip provides a comfortable, traditional hold. Top strap and post sights keep aiming simple and effective at typical black powder ranges.
Ignition is provided by standard #11 percussion caps, and the break-open action lets the cylinder swing out for quick loading and easy cap changes. At 14.50" overall and 2.75 lbs, the 1860 Army balances well in the hand and handles naturally whether you are shooting on the range, hunting, or adding to a historical collection.
