Each snap cap pairs a real brass case body with a soft plastic primer insert. The plastic tip cushions the firing pin through repeated dry firing with no live primer or propellant, letting you work the action freely, release hammer-spring tension on a stored rifle, and tune trigger pull without damaging the rifle's components.
