The Timney Triggers THEHIT Hit Trigger is a drop-in replacement trigger built specifically for the iconic Remington 700 bolt-action rifle. Designed for long-range precision and competition shooting, the Hit Trigger pairs a precision-machined steel sear and trigger shoe with a lightweight aluminum housing, all finished in black to blend with the factory action.

Timney's Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design lets the shooter set pull weight as low as 8 ounces and adjust it up through 2 pounds to suit anything from precision steel matches to hunting use. The sear and trigger shoe are heat-treated to 56 Rockwell and feature a black oxide coating with an NP-3 plated sear for a clean, crisp, repeatable break and long service life.

This right-hand model uses a curved trigger shoe and installs directly into the Remington 700 receiver with no permanent modifications required.
