Timney builds the 611 with ED-machined, hardened, and polished steel working parts housed in a lightweight aluminum housing. It ships factory calibrated to a crisp 3 lb pull weight, and remains fully adjustable for pull weight, sear engagement (creep), and over-travel so the shooter can dial the break in to taste. With its user adjustment range spanning roughly 1.5 to 4 lbs, the 611 lets a shooter fine-tune pull weight well above or below the factory 3 lb setting.
