The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Katahdin barrel turns your Encore frame into a 450 Bushmaster rifle. This 20" stainless steel fluted barrel keeps overall weight down and helps the bore shed heat between shots, giving you a compact, fast-handling configuration for field use.

Cut from a stainless steel blank and given a corrosion-resistant finish for wet or humid conditions, the Katahdin is threaded 11/16x24 for muzzle device or thread protector fitment. The fluted exterior trims weight while adding rigidity along the length of the bore and giving the barrel the signature ProHunter profile.

Designed as a drop-in replacement barrel for the Thompson Center Encore system, this unit lets you step out to 450 Bushmaster without buying a complete new rifle. Barrel only - frame, forend, and other components sold separately.
