The Taylor's & Company Runnin Iron is a purpose-built, New single-action revolver that has earned a devoted following among mounted and ground Cowboy Action Shooters alike. This Black Rock variant pairs the classic Runnin Iron platform with a uniform black nitride treatment across the barrel, cylinder, and frame for a low-glare, range-ready look that stands up to hard use.

Chambered in .45 Colt (LC), this Runnin Iron features a 3.50" barrel and a 6-round cylinder in a compact overall package measuring 9.05" end to end. The revolver tips the scales at 38.40 oz, balancing nicely for one-handed carry or saddle use. A fixed front blade and a notched rear sight sit atop the barrel and frame, providing a simple, snag-free aiming solution.

This model is Taylor Tuned, meaning it ships with hand polishing and custom springs straight from the Taylor's & Company shop. The result is a smoother action and a noticeably lighter, crisper trigger pull right out of the box. Shooters also get a low-and-wide hammer spur for easier cocking under stress and a wide trigger that promotes consistent finger placement.
