Taylor's & Company Alaskan Howdah Pedersoli 45 Colt (LC)/410 Bore 10.25" 2-Shot SAO Pistol

The Taylor's & Company Alaskan Howdah revives the classic British and Indian howdah pistol silhouette in a modern, field-ready package. Built by Italian maker Pedersoli and imported by Taylor's & Company, this is a break-open double barrel pistol with a rugged steel frame finished in weather-resistant matte chrome for use in harsh conditions.

Chambered for both .45 Colt (Long Colt) and .410 Bore (accepting up to 3" shells), the Alaskan Howdah gives the shooter the flexibility of a traditional handgun cartridge and a shotshell option in one 2-shot platform. A single-action-only (SAO) trigger is paired with a tang safety for safe carry, and manual shell extractors help speed reloads.

The 10.25" octagon barrel is rifled at a 1:35" RH twist to stabilize both .45 Colt slugs and .410 projectiles, with a brass bead front sight and a flip-up rear sight providing a fast, durable sight picture. The frame wears a black rubber grip for positive control in wet or cold weather. The pistol measures 16.63" overall and weighs 4.19 lbs.
