At the heart of the 1887 is a steel receiver finished in traditional color case hardened treatment, paired with a plain 22" barrel and a 2.75" chamber ready for standard 12 Gauge shotshells. The action is a classic lever with a positive manual safety for confident handling. Each shotgun ships from the factory with three screw-in choke tubes: Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full, so the pattern can be tuned to suit sport and close-range defensive work.

The 1887 wears a fixed American Walnut stock in a warm brown tone that complements the case-hardened receiver. The stock is configured for right-hand shooters, with a traditional lever-loop forearm for a true period-correct grip.
