The Taylor's & Company 1873 Cattleman Gunfighter revives the iconic single-action revolver of the Old West in a modern, shootable package chambered in .45 Colt (LC). Built around a forged steel frame finished in classic color case hardening, this six-shot revolver pairs a 5.50" blued steel barrel with a matching blued cylinder for the time-honored Cattleman look that has defined cowboy-action shooting for generations.
The Cattleman Gunfighter uses a traditional single-action-only (SAO) mechanism with an exposed hammer for thumb-cocking the way the original 1873 was operated. Sights stay deliberately simple in Old West fashion: a fixed blade front paired with a notched rear sight cut into the frame. The result is a fast, intuitive sight picture well suited to cowboy action competition, plinking, and period reenactment.
Grips are checkered walnut in the classic Army size profile, sized for a positive hold and finished to complement the blued and color case hardened metalwork. The overall length measures 11.10" with an unloaded weight of 40 oz, balancing well for both range work and holster carry.
