The Taylor's & Company 1860 Army Snub Nose is a black powder percussion revolver manufactured by Pietta in Italy. Chambered in 44 Cal, this snub-nosed take on the traditional 1860 Army pares the full-size revolver down to a compact 3-inch barrel, making it well suited for Cowboy Action Shooting and period-correct target shooting.

Built around a single-action (SAO) lockwork with a 1:30" left-hand twist, the 1860 Army Snub Nose pairs a 3" round blued barrel and blued 6-shot cylinder with a color case hardened steel frame. Sights are the classic blade front and notched rear, and the frame is cut and drilled for an optional period shoulder stock. The snub-nose configuration omits the loading lever for a cleaner, more compact profile.

A checkered walnut birdshead grip provides authentic period ergonomics and a secure hold. At just 2.20 lbs with an overall length of 9.30", the 1860 Army Snub Nose is a lightweight carry that retains the classic lines of the original. A brass loading rod is included in the box.
