The Taylor's & Company 1858 Remington is a faithful Uberti-manufactured reproduction of the iconic Civil War-era Remington New Army percussion revolver, chambered in .44 Caliber cap-and-ball black powder. This 6-shot single-action revolver pairs an 8" blued octagonal barrel with a matching blued cylinder and blued frame for a clean, traditional presentation straight out of the box.

Built around a forged steel frame with a steel backstrap and brass trigger guard, the 1858 Remington weighs in at 2.82 lbs and measures 13.38" overall. The barrel is cut with a 1:18" left-hand twist that handles patched round-ball black powder loads with ease. Sighting is handled by a dovetail-mounted blade front and notched rear, while a pair of smooth two-piece walnut grips rounds out the classic package.
